Flash on the Beach 2007
I am going to go to Flash on the Beach again this year, this time as a guest to take it all in!
Last year Flash on the Beach conference was the first major Flash conference in the UK for over 6 years! This year they have a hard act to follow, but it will be even better!
Over 40 of the world's most talented Flash designers, developers and artists presenting on 3 tracks over 3 full days, 2 full day workshops to get indepth training. They have added Student pricing, transferable company passes and a place to show off your work at our 'student/sole trader/up and coming talent' area! Product demos and showcases will have their own mini theatre!
Flash on the Beach has brought together the most creative, technical, inspirational awe-inspiring, educational and entertaining industry leading speakers in the rich media industry.
Add parties, Guy Fawkes night, fireworks and mixer get togethers each morning and evening for essential networking opportunities and you can see why I am so excited about this years Flash on the Beach. Plus, it's in my home town of Brighton!

IBC 2007
I worked on the Adobe stand, delivering demos on After Effects CS3 and Premiere Pro and taking questions regarding After Effects. It was a great show, my highlights included seeing Nuke from the Foundry
GridIron showed some amazing stuff in their VIP sessions and of course the Adobe Media Player looks like it is going to be huge, very exciting times.
I had a great stay in Amsterdam, favorite restaurants included Seasons.
As always it was great to see all my friends at the show.
Angie Taylor tutorials coming soon!
Watch this space for tutorials from me, Angie Taylor. I am a freelance animator/ designer who has been using creative software in my work for over 10 years.
I have also worked as one of Adobe's leading freelance demo artists and can be seen regularly at trade shows, conferences and events, talking about my work.
I will be sharing tips and tricks on Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator. I'll also share advice and opinions on good workflow techniques and plan to post video tutorials on Blip.tv.
Of course I will also be inclined to chat about whatever interests me at the time of writing. Currently I am reading Alain De Botton;
